Bernard Benoit

Bernard Benoit (born May 4, 1948 in Bourg-la-Reine) is a French guitarist and composer, who is often considered the precursor of the Celtic guitar with Guy Tudy. In addition to the guitar, he is a multi-instrumentalist and also composes with other instruments such as the Celtic harp, dulcimer, synthesizer, percussion or 12-string folk guitar. To date, he has produced sixteen albums from very different universes. Often called the Breton Mick Olfield, he is not considered “one of the best guitarists of his generation, but even more”.
