Víctor Bruno

Was a tenured professor and dean of the Department of Dramatic Arts of the IUNA, where he promoted spaces of tribute to the actors detained-disappeared during the last civic-military dictatorship. On several occasions, he held the board of directors of Proteatro and was a jury member of the National Theater Institute. As a union leader in the Argentine Association of Actors, he has an important history. Between 1968 and 1974, under the presidencies of Jorge Salcedo and Jorge Rivera López, he was part of the Trade Union Secretariat along with Alfonso De Grazia, Pepe Novoa, Emilio Alfaro, Alberto Fernández de Rosa, David Llewellyn, Omar Fannucchi, among other colleagues. During the difficult years of the civic-military dictatorship, he held the position of Secretary of Records and Press, under the presidency of Jorge Rivera López. Between 1984 he was elected Secretary General, with Onofre Lovero as President. In 2003 he received the Podestá Award for Honorable Career, awarded by the Argentine Association of Actors and the National Senate. In 2008, within the framework of the Podestá Awards, he received a Tribute Mention and in 2014 he obtained the medal for his 50 years of union membership.
